This book is dedicated to the industrial building designed for the GKD Group in the Cambridge Industrial Park. Behind a long, self-supporting metal wall lies a luminous monolith whose woven stainless steel mesh façade, animated by movable sunshades, showcases the materials produced by the company. Through text and images, the book explores this architecture, which is both understated and expressive, where transparency, reflection and texture interact with the surrounding landscape. Conceived as a true visual signature, the building embodies GKD’s identity and industrial expertise whilst offering a contemporary reflection on the relationship between form, material and space
