SYNOPSIS
The CityLights project is part of the far-reaching transformation of the Pont de Sèvres neighbourhood in Boulogne-Billancourt. Built in the 1970s, the Pont de Sèvres tower blocks were once a symbol of a major urban development project, but their design has gradually revealed its limitations: excessive density, a lack of green spaces and the neighbourhood’s isolation.

In 2008, the city launched an ambitious urban regeneration project to reconnect this area with the metropolitan dynamism of Greater Paris. As part of this initiative, BNP Paribas Real Estate undertook the refurbishment of the towers to create CityLights, a modern 80,000 m² office complex combining environmental performance, comfort and services.
Designed by architect and urban planner Dominique Perrault, the project reimagines the towers’ architecture and opens the site up to its surroundings. The interior spaces, conceived by designer Didier Gomez, offer an experience akin to that of a hotel: catering, fitness facilities, a concierge service, a shared crèche and collaborative workspaces.
CityLights thus becomes a true business campus, integrating offices, services and living spaces, at the heart of a rapidly changing area further enhanced by the development of the Grand Paris Express.
Today, CityLights stands out as a major architectural landmark in western Paris, a symbol of the urban renewal of Boulogne-Billancourt and the evolution of workplaces towards greater openness, services and quality of life.
