The Yeosu City of Culture and Arts is a line deployed between two reference points: following the undulations of a rugged topography, it connects the summit of the observatory on Mount Mangma to the peak of Jangdo Island, at the extreme southern tip of Korea.

Spread across the hillside landscape, the cultural center includes a large 1,000-seat theater, a small 300-seat theater, 680 m² of exhibition space, workshops, an energy center, and cafeterias.

This long promenade, carved into the landscape like a furrow, serves as both an open-air art gallery and a viewpoint offering panoramic views of the sea. The galleries and cafes along this route are not merely functional spaces; they are integral elements of the landscape, accessible even beyond scheduled events.
