DESCRIPTION
Winner of an international competition, the project led by Dominique Perrault redefines the image of Pavilion 1 at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center in Paris. Located on a 7,250 m² site, it consists of a new façade and a large plaza that assert the urban presence of this major venue. The 5,000 m² façade, including 3,500 m² of metal mesh, forms a light and vibrant envelope that filters the light and unifies the entire architectural ensemble.

This system creates a transition between the city and the event space, giving the Exhibition Park a contemporary identity while structuring the reception and flow of visitors.
