DESCRIPTION
This strategy results in a vertical, compact building, conceived as a new urban landmark engaging in dialogue with Reims Cathedral.
The project is composed of three stacked volumes oriented toward the city’s main landmarks. The exhibition spaces, flexible and column-free, are organized around a large foyer and a central staircase.

Clad in a metal with golden reflections, the museum incorporates a sunken courtyard that brings in natural light and provides an outdoor space. The glazed façades, filtered by metal screens, offer framed views of the city, while artificial lighting ensures optimal exhibition conditions. Through its verticality and iconic presence, the museum connects the Halle, Place de la République, and the Allées, while creating a new public piazza.
