DESCRIPTION
By freeing the buildings from technical constraints, this infrastructure allows for a more flexible urban layout and a better relationship with the site.
The volume is divided into two distinct buildings: an east-west building dedicated to offices and a north-south building housing the functions related to the operation of the depot. This configuration creates a public square at the corner of the site, around the metro exit, emphasizing the project’s openness to the city and showcasing the activity of the bus depot.
The two buildings appear as understated metallic monoliths, offering a calm presence above a bustling technical site. The facades, punctuated by metallic spandrels and dark glass windows, are protected by horizontal metal sunshade mesh to the south and vertical mesh to the north, producing a kinetic effect perceptible from the avenue.
