DESCRIPTION
Together, these spaces form a clear geography of the site and can be implemented in phases according to the evolution of urban development.
The project draws upon the existing context—road infrastructure, river landscape, and built fabric—to transform these constraints into urban and architectural assets. The entrance to the district is marked by a cluster of office towers forming a dynamic urban landmark, while a triangular plaza opens broadly onto the river and connects the urban pathways.
A scenic promenade runs along the edge of the district, approximately ten meters above the water, housing cultural installations beneath a large pergola. The riverbanks themselves are landscaped as a series of themed gardens, incorporating the rehabilitation of an existing building for cultural use. The overall aim is to create a contemporary and evolving urban landscape, based on an open and collaborative design process.
