Dominique Perrault's team wins the competition

The studio Dominique Perrault Architecture was laureate in August 2018 of the competition urban masterpiece of the Olympic and Paralympic Village of Paris 2024 The team consists of: A factory of the city, TER Agency, Ingérop, Citec, Urban Eco scop, Jean-Paul Lamoureux and Françoise Folacci

The Paris Olympics are an exceptional sporting, media and tourist event. In 2024 Paris will host delegations from more than 200 countries, 10,500 Olympic athletes and 4,300 Paralympic athletes. To welcome this global event and to design the future village represent a considerable challenge. In a common vision of the metropolis and by a complementarity of confirmed expertise, the team of Master of Work Urbaine is strongly mobilized to support SOLIDEO and all the communities concerned to succeed in rare challenge on the metropolitan territory: to build in 73 months a piece of city towards which the eyes of 4 billion viewers will be filmed and will be in Legacy phase a reference area anchored on its territory. The team combines proven structures with proven operational experience and adapted production capacities to the dynamics of such a big project. The design and construction project of the Olympic and Paralympic Village will last 6 years in total.
