CHARLES ABELLA RESIDENCY EMULATIONS AT THE DOMAINE DE FRAPOTEL
Architects’ residences in partnership with the Académie des Beaux-Arts – Institut de France in the restored housing of the Domaine de Frapotel.
In 2025, the staff housing designed by Jean Dubuisson at the Domaine de Frapotel will become residences open to architects. Renovated in keeping with the spirit of the original plans, these spaces combine rigor and quality materials, precise geometry, and dialogue with nature. Starting in the summer of 2025, they will host the four finalists of the Académie des Beaux-Arts’ Charles Abella Emulations prize for a period of two months, placing the estate at the heart of contemporary creativity. The Domaine de Frapotel will thus become a true place of transmission and reflection on the legacy of modern architecture.
