2026 KOREA HERALD ARCHITECURE TALK REIMAGINES PUBLIC SPACE WITH DOMINIQUE PERRAULT
The Korea Herald is reimagining public space with Dominique Perrault, the guest of honor at its annual forum. His opening lecture, titled “Public Architecture: Ground, Light, and Civic Space,” drew on his recently published monograph by Gallimard and offered insight into his architectural philosophy.
He emphasized a redefinition of the ground—no longer as a boundary, but as a space to be used and experienced—as evidenced by his projects such as the campus complex at Ewha Womans University, the Villejuif-Gustave Roussy station on the Grand Paris Express, and the Gangnam International Transit Center, currently under construction in Seoul.
