DESCRIPTION
The project addresses issues that remain relevant today: mitigating the urban divide created by the Pornic road, harmonizing a heterogeneous residential fabric, and facilitating coexistence between the picturesque houses and the neighboring industrial zone. Designed for families, the complex is a collective housing development with the feel of individual, personalized homes, featuring high-performance insulation, private terraces, and kitchens illuminated by skylights.
The architecture combines modernity and local roots: it is inspired by the Corbusian style with its high walkways, solariums and through duplexes, while integrating references to the maritime world and to Trentemoult: landings in walkways, wooden hulls, sail-shaped walls and terraced apartments, evoking the tight alignments of small fishermen’s houses.
